Dr Donna Rodil, DClinPsy, PhD, CPsychol

​

Founder

Dr Donna Rodil is the founder of RAW Mental Health. She is an HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered Clinical Psychologist and a BPS (British Psychological Society) accredited Chartered Clinical Psychologist. She is also currently working as a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist for secondary care adult mental health service in the NHS. Her current role involves providing individual and group therapy, bespoke workshops and training, one-to-one and group clinical supervision to staff, and consultancy. Donna is very passionate about early intervention and preventive work especially in raising people’s awareness about the importance of mental wellbeing at work. She is a big advocate of the idea that prevention is always better than cure. Her clinical expertise is on complex adult mental health problems, in particular, early psychosis, and enduring mental health difficulties. 

 

Prior to gaining her second doctorate and qualifying as a clinician, she worked as an academic for a number of years. She completed a PhD in Psychology at the University of Birmingham. Following her PhD, she worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in addictions research and managed a clinical trial for the drug and alcohol service in Birmingham.

Donna is currently undertaking further training at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience - King's College London on specialist CBT for psychosis.

Dr Giggs Chohan, DClinPsy

​

Co-Founder

Dr Gagandeep (Giggs) Chohan is a co-founder of RAW (Resilience at Work) Mental Health. She is an HCPC registered Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in two NHS roles as well as Private Practice. Giggs is highly passionate about supporting wellbeing in the workplace. Her NHS roles involve delivering bespoke workshops, individual therapy and supervision to a Community Children’s Nursing Team and staff working for an acute NHS Trust.  Other areas of clinical expertise include addiction, complex loss and perinatal mental health covering the antenatal and postnatal period. 

​

Prior to Doctorate training, she worked in the NHS as an addiction researcher exploring the impact of organisational change on staff wellbeing. She completed her Doctorate training at The University of Birmingham, and her research investigated the psychological impact of complex loss. She continues to train and supervise healthcare professionals in their clinical practice and with research projects.

Romony Snape

Co-Founder

Romony has a Degree in Human Psychology and went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Social Work. Since 2013, she has been working for the largest local authority in the UK as an HCPC registered Social Worker. She specialises in helping vulnerable adults with a wide range of difficulties such as mental health problems, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Prior to this, Romony worked as a mental health Research Associate for the NHS.
